Who runs this?

Welcome to my driveway! My name is Chelsea and I started The Celestial Library back in 2022 as a way to share my collection of books with neighbors in the Outer Richmond. (I mostly saw it as a chance to read quietly in my driveway.)

But over the years it’s grown into something bigger. Neighbors are constantly stopping by, from a few blocks away or the East Bay. (I can barely finish a chapter!) Now I’m doing events like story times and selling books.

My dream is to open a brick-and-mortar store: Celestial Books. This will be an Outer Richmond-proud bookstore for neighbors to gather and explore their niche interests.
